                               RESOLUTION NO. 19615
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE DOWNTOWN
                   AREA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON
                   SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 1992 FROM 1:30 P.M. TO
                   3:00 P.M. FOR "THE HUNGER WALK" SPONSORED BY
                   THE CHATTANOOGA CHAPTER OF THE TENNESSEE
                   HUNGER COALITION, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the north curb lane of 11th Street between
       Peeples Street and Market Street, the northbound curb lane of
       Market Street between 11th Street and M. L. King Boulevard, the
       westbound curb lane of M. L. King Boulevard between Market Street 

       and Gateway Avenue, and the southbound sidewalk on the west side
       of Gateway Avenue to the Jaycee Towers Community Gardens on
       Sunday, October 11, 1992 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for "The
       Hunger Walk" under the sponsorship of the Chattanooga Chapter of
       the Tennessee Hunger Coalition provided that the sponsor shall 
set
       out barricades and warning signs in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for emergency vehicles.
